Vinyl decals are made of a super thin layer of PVC material that comes in a variety of colors, that lays on top of a silicone coated paper. It is cut on a special machine and the left over portion is taken away or "weeded” out of the design. The design can then be covered in a semi-transparent transfer tape, which attaches to the design and pulls it from the silicone paper for transfer to the intended surface. Oracal 631 is our preferred vinyl decal material. (See the MSDS Page for specifications). It is easily removable, but withstands hand washing, and can transfer to painted or bare surfaces.
Yes, Oracal 631 attaches to surfaces with a water soluble adhesive and is easy to remove. The longer a design is left on a car—the sun tends to bake it and make it more difficult to remove. I use peanut butter to remove baked on adhesive!
No. Although vinyl decals are easily removable, they ARE NOT reusable. This is not a “cling”, but an adhesive backed decal.
631 has water soluble adhesive making it easier to remove. 651 has a stronger adhesive, making it a stronger adhering adhesive.

Yes. There is a deposit required for custom work. It is applied to the finished product price. Prior to paying a deposit, a ballpark estimate is made based on the number of proofs, changes, your budget and the size of the final decal.
